Forli (Italy)
Forlilies in the north of Italy, 76 km from Bologna. The history of the town dates back to the Iron Age. Its favourable geographical location has greatly contributed to its development. The present-day Forli is an important economic, industrial and commercial centre. It boasts a very rich cultural life with several-hundred-years tradition. In the twentieth century, the town acquired a dominant commercial character, presently it has almost 4,000 companies operating in this line of business. Apart from textile and brick production other industries are also present in the town. Forli has had a twinning with us since 1998.
